There is a new face on Horley Town Council.
David Jackson was co-opted following a vote at the full council meeting on September 2.
Coun Jackson will represent the Horley North West Ward, replacing Celia Austin who resigned in May.
He has lived in Horley for 25 years and lives in Newlands Close.
His wife works locally in the community and their three daughters have all been to Horley schools.
Coun Jackson's has several interests including a passion for sport particularly football and cricket.
He is employed by British Airways plc as a Cabin Service Director. He will join the Planning and Finance committees.
